Modern Home

Upon first glance you are immediately inspired by the organic yet modern approach to the Mexican influenced architecture of this stunning home. Sprawling glass window spans create a sense of inclusiveness from the outdoor to indoor areas which was an essential element in the design. The combination of wood, concrete and stone tell a story about symmetry and balance which was incorporated through the home.

The entrance leads to a minimalist foyer design with layered floating wood and smoked mirror consoles striking a sense of balance in pairs from the dual cinetic artwork to the sculptural vases. The walls are designed featuring channels, as are the custom designed ceiling with inlaid indirect lighting. There is an elegant flow through from the living to the dining spaces where oversize windows welcome natural lighting. Modern Italian furnishings vary in texture and color complemented by oak details while maintaining a cohesive story line. Neutrals, tones of blue, and hints of purple draw attention to the white marble flooring and framed views between spaces. A nero marquina stone slab serves as the backdrop to the large powder room mirror. The pendant lighting, sleek faucets, and bathroom accessories continue the tone of a modern yet relaxing space.

The sliding door in oak with frosted glass panel opens to the contemporary kitchen designed in wood with black lacquer and quartz countertops. The view from the kitchen window serves as the backsplash for this warm room. For casual dining, an iconic modern table with glass top and metal base is complemented by slim silhouette seating. The selection of a contemporary art piece adds a chic urban feel.

Designed to incorporate a dual workspace in oak wood with white lacquer and custom built in shelving, the family room is welcoming with cozy furnishings. Pocket doors lead to the private rooms. The master bathroom features walnut custom cabinets in a three-dimensional design with built in vanity lighting. The children’s Jack and Jill bathroom is designed with clean lines highlighting the elegant millwork details in white oak.
